Episode 182. Can you be friends with former clients?
In this episode, you’ll hear a bit of my personal journey over the past 18 months. More specifically, how I have been processing a recurring pattern in my life. Through my real-life example, I’ll explain the distinction between transactional relationships (i.e. buying a book), and heart-centered connections, often formed with clients, mentors, or other service providers. Then, I’ll challenge you to take a look at your beliefs about what constitutes a ‘professional’ relationship, and how that relationship looks once the financial transaction is over. You’ll hear my own transformation from this perspective and how it created space for the brand new alumni study group, a space for all of my former clients and customers to reconnect and support each other.
To wrap up, you’ll get a business tip that you can try on in your own business. Enjoy!
